I was down one day and some friends of mine told me,
“There is NOTHING in this world that you can’t defeat.”
I thought to myself, how could that possibly be?
But they said, “With God, you have everything beat.”
I started to take a new approach on each day,
And pondered on this thought for over a week
As I closely listened to what my peers would say,
I realized there is nothing like hearing Him speak.
I began praying every morning & night
Yet I really didn’t understand cause it felt odd
But when I heard that voice telling me “It’ll be alright”
I realized how much I really needed God.
“Judge not” says our Lord,
For we all have our own cross to carry-
Our God calls each one of us aboard,
Because with Him nothing is scary.
So about these “friends” of mine-
They encourage me to keep up the climb,
Always telling me that I too, can shine
And this is my fam - RehabTime.
I learned to keep on pushing through
“Never give up on your dream”
“There is nothing you can’t do”
Cause with Christ it’s not as hard as it may seem.
